What am I up to?
While my most favourite things include beautiful views, sunshine, my family, my dog Layla and Pina Coladas, I wanted to share a few of my favourite things in this year’s event.
Counting down to the Digital Workplace Conference – we’re counting in hours now!
I’m really excited about the sessions we at Digital Workplace Results are doing.
Like all our training and consulting we focus on tips: how people get more from what they have, simple stuff to make life easier…. things that make you go hmmmmm! (c’mon, you remember that 90s phenomenon?!). Shannon and I are doing an awesome 10 Top TEAMS Tips to Toast to – Wednesday – 2:30pm. Plus! we will be sharing both your tips and ours from all our sessions.
Shannon is also doing another demo extravaganza with tips to treasure – Get your Microsoft 365 gold nuggets here! No treasure map required Thursday – 11:30am . 10 features we love to use across different Microsoft 365 apps – from Outlook to Forms, Teams to Stream.
I get to share personal self-development perspectives at my session!
One of my passions is productivity – getting the most out of my day and my life. However, like most people I end up ‘busy being busy’, which makes me unproductive. Staying focused and avoiding distraction are my challenge and my endless pursuit.
I also know “our purpose in life is not to accomplish and be productive” but how do we take this ‘busyness’ and be intentional? What part does our well-being play? So, in my session I’ll introduce “The Productivity Perspective”. Wednesday 3:45pm. This is a personal blueprint for:
- Maximising Energy to be effective,
- Narrowing your Focus to what matters most and
- Prioritising your Time
Keynote Kraziness
I want interaction to be at the heart of our conference this year, so watch out for something a little different Shannon and I have cooked up to get everyone in the right frame of mind.
Things I am most looking forward to personally participating in
- Talking Turkey Panels – having found some awesome panelists and knowing the discussions will be lively – I particularly want to attend these. I am also joining the panel on Metaverse, AI and avatars!
- Looking forward to hearing some great thought leadership from Lee Stevens and Haider Khan.
- I also want to learn from Kat Olsen, Alistair West, and Sutter Schumacher’s sessions. They’re speaking my language! Once I saw what goodness they’d be bringing in the hybrid, Viva and adoption realms, I decided to take those topics out of my own session and leave it up to them.
Something different just for you…
Recharge Time
I think taking a few minutes between sessions to rest, reflect and recharge offers real value to your conference experience, so this year we have a dedicated Recharge room. Think low lighting, soothing smells, soft music and comfy seating.
AND (drum roll, please!)…
As a special addition, we have a Thai Massage therapist stationed there giving 10 minute head and shoulders massages! I have known Chorn as my most awesome Thai masseuse and personal friend for over 13 years! Happy to be able to share some of her magic with you 🙂
I am looking forward to the relaunch of personal events where we get to mix and mingle and share all our war stories – personal and professional from the past 3-4 years! Overdue but certainly on point.
Mā te wā,
